It is a low cost solar arch compared to the Eolios Arch, but equally of great quality in its details. Especially designed for those who only need the arch to support the solar panels.

Characteristics:

  • Made of AISI-316 stainless steel (∅43mm tube for the arches and ∅35mm for the central tube)

  • System with ball joints to regulate the position of the bow on the transom, designed in such a way that they even allow the passage of electrical cables through its interior.

  • Width and height of the arch adjustable through a system of telescopic tubes (maximum width of the arch 3.5m).

  • Fixing struts to the railing to prevent movement of the bow.

  • Delrin bushings at the junction between tube structures and bases, as well as between tube structures and central connecting tube. To improve the union between elements and isolate the arc from circulating electrical currents that can cause corrosion

  • Assembly instructions.

MonoArch ITC assembly video overview:

Maintenance:

  • To avoid electrolysis (corrosion reaction that occurs when 2 dissimilar metals come into contact in a marine or corrosive environment) you must fit nylon washers. They are placed between the screw and the solar panel, and between the bracket and the solar panel.

  • Even with the nylon washers in place, there is still an electrical current in the gantry which attracts particles from the environment and over time can generate a corroded appearance in places. This is not true corrosion of the stainless steel, as cleaning of these spots will show that it is easily removed. Periodic cleaning of the gantry is recommended to avoid this corrosion.
